Can a Dynex mouse work on NI~CD batteries? - nickel cadmium batteries wireless mouse

I have a wireless mouse Dynex Semi (with the mouse itself is wireless, but the difficulty is not unusual), and eats batteries. I wonder if I could nickel-cadmium (Ni-CD)-use batteries, with?

I have the same mouse and use NI-MH longer than Ni-Cd seem to last, but none of them work

It should play no role. You can use any type of battery in most electronics, so that the batteries are not mixed with other types of batteries.
