Nissan Serena Help needed...what does this switch do? - nissan serena manual

Hello, I just got a Nissan Serena people carrier ... I know .... is a van with seats in the rear, but with already three children and one yesterday because I had to do it! Driving a bit strange after using a Fiat 126 and Cinquecento!

I have a switch on the left side of the steering column just below the cigarette lighter. The command is broken, and all that is left is a metal bar that rotates clockwise, I have no idea what it is, or if nothing at all!

Can not find a Haynes manual and do not know anyone who admits possess, the same car!
